Classmate Update: Shari (Pincock) Baker

The classmate update on Tarl Lambson is definitely a hard act to follow but here's a little bit about me, Shari Baker (formerly known as Shari Pincock).

I married my best friend Orrin, on March 10th, 2005.  We are currently living in Boise and are just working and playing.  I've now been working for a company in Nampa for 4 1/2 years where I have a lot of different roles.  Everything from Administrative Assistant to Human Resources to Payroll Manager. My husband works for Verizon Wireless here in Boise.  Even though we are both working full-time we definitely make time for a little fun and relaxation.  Among other things we enjoy hanging out with friends, playing tennis (even though we're not any good), riding bikes, and watching movies together.  Can't wait to see you at the class reunion on August 8th!  Don't forget to R.S.V.P!

We are pleased to announce the events for the Highland High School Class of 1999 Ten Year Reunion! The reunion is being held the weekend of August 8th.

Please RSVP for each reunion event by filling out the form at the link found to the right of this post. Even if you cannot make it to the reunion, we would appreciate it if you would still take the time to fill out the form and let us know you're not coming.

For events with associated costs, we ask that you provide payment by July 20th. You can pay via account transfer (aka "Send Money") or credit card using PayPal by following the link to the right. (To save the planning committee credit card fees, please use "Send Money" option if possible). You may also send a check to:

Classmate Picnic:
Join us Saturday, August 8th at 11:30 am at Stuart Park (at the intersection of James and Stuart Street in Chubbuck) for a family picnic. There will be a bouncy house, face painting and games for the kids (and the adults!). The picnic is being catered by Pier 49 Pizza. Lunch will include pizza, salad, drinks and dessert. The cost for lunch is $8 for adults and $5 for kids. Please submit your payment by check or via PayPal by following the link at www.HighlandHighSchool99.blogspot.com. Adult Reception:
The reunion's PREMIER EVENT! Join us Saturday, August 8th at the Idaho State University Performing Arts Center from 7:00 - 10:00 pm for music, food and a short program. No-host bar will be available. In order to reduce costs and increase your time to mingle and catch up with old classmates, we have opted for an hour d'oeuvre reception rather than a seated dinner. But don't worry - there will be plenty of food and variety to fill you up! Please submit your payment of $30 per person ($60 per couple) by check or via PayPal by following the link at www.HighlandHighSchool99.blogspot.com. Please note that the price will increase to $35 per person for those submitting payment after July 20th.

If you have any questions, email Dawna or Shari at HighlandHighSchool99@gmail.com or send us a message on Facebook.

Classmate Update: Tarl Lambson

My family and I are still living in Provo, Utah.  School is all but done so I find myself freelancing for animation and graphic design.  Work is slim these days, but I still enjoy drawing all those pictures.  If you want a peek at a few of them, check it out on www.tarlsscribbles.com.  I've also helped start up a new t-shirt company in Washington as their creative director.  That work can be seen at www.onelessnemesis.com.

Debbie and I have been married for 7 1/2 years now and even managed to have three beautiful children to show for it.  We find a little time here and there to spend together, just the two of us, but usually we are all together playing outside, having picnics at the park, playing games or just shooting bad guys on the xbox.  The two older girls are great at helping out their little brother, and all three of them do a fantastic job at messing up the house and getting into trouble.
